Hallet Huggables are easy to
maintain in mint condition. Alpaca fur is a hair
and can be treated in the same way. If the fur
becomes tangled, it can be brushed with a bristle
brush. If the fur becomes soiled, it can be cleaned
by using a damp cloth with a little shampoo. Note
when damp cleaning, the fur should be held away
from the body so the pelt does not become wet. A
hair dryer can be used to blow dry the soiled area
after cleaning. Noses soiled with dust can be
cleaned by pressing scotch tape against
them.
Bears that have been tightly
packed for shipping do need to be squeezed and
brushed to regain their original shape.
Note that the bears meet all
US Federal and Canadian standards for child safety.
